Teravail Cannonball

Description

We designed the Cannonball to be a first-choice gravel racing tire Dirty Kanza, Trans Iowa, Land Run its conquered them all. The directional, tight-knit center tread efficiently decreases rolling resistance while the side knobs increase cornering traction. The center treads diamond pattern is optimized specifically for gravel riding and sheds dirt and gravel debris.

DURABLE CASING

Teravail’s durable casing features a layer of woven polymer composite reinforcement between the outer rubber and the inner casing. Located under the sidewall, it provides increased protection against abrasion and sharp debris.

LIGHT & SUPPLE CASING

When extra puncture protection isnt necessary, the light and supple casing offers decreased weight and a comfortable, ultra-supple ride quality at lower pressures when set up tubeless.

The DK200 is always a challenge and 2015 served up the biggest one yet with an epic muddy disorder. Record-setting rain the weeks prior meant miles of Kanza roads had been turned into wartime, muddy trenches. This meant I needed a tire capable of not only handling the DK flint that loves to slice tires, but also something that could float and give me some traction in the muddy stuff. The Cannonballs did an amazing job with the flint. They never flatted, and they helped me survive the miles of peanut butter mud. I came to trust them quickly and this allowed me to use the 38mm tubeless width to float over the rocky sections. These great tires helped me to 9th place and kept me rolling all day in less than ideal conditions!
